Der Parque Taoro liegt auf dem Berg, dem er seinen Namen verdankt, und bietet einen spektakulären Panoramablick auf Puerto de la Cruz. Er umfasst rund 100.000 Quadratmeter Gartenanlagen mit Spazierwegen, Pavillons, beleuchteten Brunnen, Wasserfällen und schattigen Plätzchen. Hunderte Bäume und Palmen wurden dafür neu gepflanzt. Bei gutem Wetter kann man zudem weite Teile von Teneriffas Nordküste sehen. Außerdem gibt es dort einen Kiosk mit Restaurant, eine Bar und eine Terrasse. Im hinteren Teil des Parks befindet sich zudem die historische anglikanische Kirche, ein eindrucksvoller Steinbau.

    A quiet yet well appointed hotel with every facility readily available / more than compensated for the number of steps to resort centre & taxis were reasonable. Staff were amazing first class attention to detail 😎

    Rooms were bright and clean. There was an issue with the flooring in our room which really did require attention. Bathroom good.

    I believe that the hotel was mis-sold. We were really disciplined with the tui blue Atlantic hills resort in tenerife. Not all was bad but the bad defiantly out weighed the good, for the following reasons. A short walk into Puerto de la cruz. This was not the case, the hotel was situated 300 steep steps above the town, my wife was not able to walk back to the hotel from town, so each day a cost of a taxi. The food was not hot. Each breakfast and evening meal was cold to warm at best. The food was tasty, but I will not eat it unless its hot. The hotel has a strict no smoking no vaping policy, even outside and even though ash trays are on all tables outside. Both myself and my wife vape after quiting smoking. This ment that we were unable to enjoy times around the pool and evening drinks throughout our holiday. This was not detailed in the hotel description on the tui website. It should be. The room was a really good size but had very limited furniture even though the room could easily take it. This ment we had to live out of suit cases for the majority of our holiday. We disliked the hotel so much, we decided to book an alternative apartment via booking.com in the south of tenerife for 4 days. Having stayed with tui blue before (and enjoying the high level of service on previous trips) I expected more from the Atlantic hills resort. This holiday has made me think twice about booking a tui blue hotel again in the future. The hotel was poor in my opinion, i feel it let's down the tui blue brand.
